Senior Growth Marketer

Team: Marketing

Location: Boston

Employment type: FULL_TIME

Workplace: ONSITE

Salary: USD 90000–150000 per year

What we do

Rocket Alumni Solutions makes web-based touchscreen software for schools (1,500+ clients across the US). Athletic directors and advancement teams use us to turn decades of photos, records, and stories into interactive halls of fame, donor walls, and alumni showcases. Everything we build runs as a website on any device: touchscreens, phones, laptops, tablets. As an AI-native company, we push the boundaries of web development to make the highly complex feel simple, and we help schools engage alumni and donors at scale.

The role

As our Growth Marketer, you’ll report to the Head of Growth Marketing, who will be your strategic partner and, depending on your seniority, your mentor. Paid ads are the core of the role: primarily Meta and Google, but also YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and AI engine ads. That said, we’re not hiring someone who only does paid. We’re hiring a systems thinker who is passionate about AI-driven marketing. We’re an AI-forward company: an AI agent already works alongside our marketing team, monitoring campaigns, pulling reports, running research, and handling much of the operational gruntwork. Your job is to direct that leverage to boost client acquisition.

Responsibilities
  • Run paid acquisition across our ad platforms: campaign structure, budgets, and the CAC and ROAS targets that come with them. You have a track record of efficiently increasing ad spend over time to drive more conversion volume, and you know what moved the metric and why.

  • Work with the design team to build a creative testing system around target personas (personalization at scale): hooks, offers, formats, and landing pages on a steady cadence. We have a design system in place that supports triple-digit asset creation every month.

  • Improve CRO by designing landing pages for each target persona and A/B testing them. We have a system in place to ship new landing pages at scale in no time.

  • Build paid automations and AI workflows with our AI agents, so ad account management becomes mostly you setting strategy while agents execute. The infrastructure is already in place (API connections and permissions).

  • Ensure accurate measurement: conversion tracking plus HubSpot or a third-party attribution tool. We already have server-side tracking set up. Your job is to stay on top of it, keep match rates as high as possible, and brief our freelance tracking specialist when troubleshooting is needed, so issues get resolved before they impact performance negatively.

  • Monitor Rocket’s organic traffic growth and SERP rankings for target keywords, as well as our visibility in different AI engines, and build on top of our existing proprietary AEO efforts to strengthen Rocket’s positioning among LLMs.

Requirements
  • Passionate about growth (marketing)

  • 3+ years in growth or performance marketing with hands-on budget ownership. You can walk us through what worked, what didn’t, and how you knew.

  • You’ve worked at a startup, ideally in B2B SaaS.

  • A systems thinker. You see yourself as contributing to the whole pipeline as we build an omni-channel presence from impression to conversion, rather than being laser-focused on how a single platform performs.

  • AI-native. You use AI daily (you’ve used all the AI features the platforms offer and you constantly test new ones). Having experimented with or built workflows is a big plus.

  • Analytical. You know how to set success benchmarks, optimize against them, and report on what’s working versus what isn’t.

  • Agile. You’re comfortable owning paid while growing with us as both the business and AI develop rapidly.

Why Rocket
  • You’ll get ownership in a team of five, and a direct hand in how an AI-native company does growth marketing, backed by a product that 1,500+ schools already rely on.

  • We were fully bootstrapped until last year, when we raised our first Series A round. Today we’re a team of ~45 people, with dozens of contractors globally.

  • We run on AI agents, with heavy investment in AI tooling and agent infrastructure. You’ll have more leverage here than at companies ten times our size.

  • Remote, or a hybrid schedule if you’re in the Boston area.
